my upper row of teeth finally saw the light today. the wire that went round the brackets and the U-shaped thick wire were removed today! the lower row had a change in wire too. now i can feel the prick from the wire whenever i try to lick my teeth.

today's session was a tad longer because the dentist was analyzing my bite. my teeth are growing towards the left so he had to pull them back to the right.



he used this "satellite dish" lookalike instrument to create a gap in between my right front teeth and the tooth next to it. i was told to expect more gaps coming so that the teeth can realign themselves. as long as the tooth that is not protuding out enough gets aligned nicely, i'm fine with a delay in treatment time :)



AND I GOT BANDS FOR MY UPPER ROW! but they're white :( the dentist didn't ask me for my colour choice! i suspect the bands are different from the usual coloured ones. i can't eat curry now :( i don't want horribly-stained bands so soon.

P.S no more rubberbands for me!
